After your free Advancement Review, the first thing your AP will determine is whether they feel they can be of assistance to you.
Unless a real commercial benefit can be delivered there would be little point in your spending any money.
Assuming they can, they move forward and one of the most important vehicles for providing assistance is our Business Advancement Plan.
Whilst there is nothing to prevent you from choosing several people to work with, we have found that generally people prefer to choose just the "team leader". Who may have a particular skill they require.
If that initial adviser feels that whatever he/she and the client agree needs to be done, will be best dealt with on a consistent, co-ordinated and multi-skilled basis, then they are likely to recommend the BAP.
Your AP then operates as your Project Manager, pulling together (with your approval), whatever various skills might be required to achieve the objectives. Typically this would involve :
- Identifying the tasks or areas, which need attention.
- Agreeing the actual work, which each of these will involve.
- Prioritising these tasks.
- Agreeing benchmarks and a form of measuring progress.
