INDIVIDUAL COACHING & MENTORING : Transformation at Work- releasing people to perform
The coaching process is complete and straightforward with attention paid to the 'before' and 'after' as well as to the coaching interactions. Its goal is to deliver clearly defined, business-relevant outcomes for the individual and the organisation and, so, we identify upfront whether the individual requires coaching or mentoring - or both, or neither.
The coaching interactions are specifically tailored to the needs and style of the individual and the organisation, thus ensuring commitment from the organisation, sponsor, manager and individual. Our commitment is to ensure a rigorous. outcome-focused approach that competes the diagnosis and defines the outcomes before the coaching interaction begins. This allows individuals to commit a step at a time and to know what they are committing themselves to. It is not an open-ended 'mysterious' process.
ICFBA coaching and mentoring is based on best practice, uses tools already in use in the organisation if appropriate, and can be used at all levels in an organisation. Our coaches have a combination of business experience and expertise as well as coaching skills. Having carried responsibility in organisations,, they have an understanding of the environment and challenges that individuals face.
Whilst we focus on a clear, packaged approach to both coaching and mentoring, we give support beyond the specific programme, and coaching / mentoring relationships can extend over lengthy periods if that is wish of the organisation and individual. Whether in a specific programme or an extended relationship, we always remember that we are supporting the organisation as well as the individual and, therefore, maintain a focus on the benefit to both.
You can look further into the structure of the coaching programme by viewing a flowchart and / or table. The mentoring programme is based on the same principles and tends to be heavily personalised to the individual in its structure.
