VALUES & BEHAVIOURS
Organisations having an organic set of values that influence their people's attitudes and shape their behaviours reap many benefits, for example:
- where they are in tune with the public's increasing desire to associate with organisations that have an ethical stance and performance, the sales performance is strongly positive
- a clear value set can set organisations apart and provide a unique selling proposition
- at a business to business level they tend to be more consistent in their performance and, therefore, more attractive to do business with
- people working to agreed values and behaviours tend to have fewer misunderstandings that lead to costly errors
